Freak Storm
It seems like the rain hasn't stopped for the last month. Today we were enjoying a little break in the rain at Dax's Football game. Since most of the games have been canceled because of the lake that took over the football field. I left early to come home and meet some workers at our house when he told me he had to go because his wife was worried about the storm coming in. Judd showed up at home and helped him load is van and then move everything out of our Garage into the storage shed. No sooner did he get the truck in then the hail started. We grabbed the kids and went downstairs with flashlights and a radio. We turned the TV on to watch the storm pass over us. The kids were a little scared. We came up when we saw that it was safe. And went out to see the damage. Our hail was bigger then golf balls. Our siding on our house was all dinged up, and any cars that stayed outside were all dented. We called some people in our ward to check on them and found it was worse other places. People had windows of their cars and houses destroyed. And a Tornado ( a really small one) touched down about 2 miles away. We were really lucky. They told us another storm was coming through that night so we had the kids sleep in the basement. Annabelle loved it. Dax had a hard time with the change. Chase was just happy to have new toys to sleep with. All was well when we woke up, and the kids ended up sleeping better then they normally do in their rooms.

Chase's Birthday
If you asked Chase what he wanted for his birthday he would tell you "tain from a sore". So I went to the neighborhood garage sales and found a great train table for him. I also found him the old metal Tonka trucks. He was so excited he knew he was getting his train. We told him he couldn't open his presents until daddy got home so all day he walked around telling everyone "No presents daddy home". Both Chase and Annabelle helped bake his cake. When we were at the store he picked out Car Plates and Cups and he told me he needed napkins too. So I decided to make him a Cars cake. I was so proud of it I didn't want to cut into it. He got his own TAG reader so he no longer has to steal Annabelle's. She was very happy about that present to. He also got a lot a clothes because I seem to misplace all of Dax's old clothes that were 3T's. Then he was so excited when Grandma and Grandpa Ward gave him trains he wanted to open them
