My Belated Birthday

My friend Melanie wanted to go out to celebrate my birthday. I decided I wanted to go to a haunted house. We discovered the most amazing haunted Amusement Park. Thats right and Adult Haunted Amusement Park called The Land of Illusions. I have never been to anything like it. There were five different haunted events. Melanie and I only found four of them. The haunted house was a real farm house. It was a lot of fun. We made some New Friends.

The park also had a bomb fire and a DJ. There was also a headless horse man that rode through the park. We then went to the Haunted trail, which is by far the best one I have EVER been in. They had a bus and a Junk yard, a maze, a vortex, and more. I couldn't believe how long it was.

Next was the Temple of Terror, which was a knock off of the Indiana Jones movie. We were kind of let down after the trail but it was still good.

We ended in the clown house. Which was a spook up fun house in 3D. We are making a new tradition. Every year we are going back!

Halloween in the Park

Each year Bellbrook has a Halloween in the park. We missed it last year. I thought this year it would be fun since Judd was out hunting with his brothers. I was amazed at how big it was. The kids thought it was cool to get all dressed up. They had games, stories, hay maze, wagon rides, pony rides, free witches brew and music. I will try to go every year.

In Utah, Chase was afraid of horses. He wouldn't even go near them. He has come a long way. He was telling to horse to giddy-up.
Annabelle was prepared she even had her new cowgirl boots on to ride.

The were mesmerized by the story. They listened for about 15 mins.

All in all a great day.

Family Hayride

We went to a farm and had a hayride as a family. The kids loved riding in a wagon. It was the craziest wagon ride I had ever been on. Each of the kids picked a pumpkin.

They had the neatest play-sets for the kids to play on. Chase loved the train and the tractor.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME

It was a great birthday. I couldn't ask for a better day. My whole family was together. Judd really spoiled me. He even took Annabelle shopping to pick out a present for me. He also found me a wonderful Fruit tart for my cake.

Hershey Park

Life has been a little crazy since Judd got back from Afghanistan. We decided to take a family trip to Hershey to visit his sister. We had a great time. It had been a long time since we had done anything like this. The drive there was even fun. It seemed to go so fast. Judd even got to stop in Cabelas. It was a perfect rest stop the kids loved seeing all the animals. The only problem was Judd didn't feel right leaving Cabelas with out buying something. After dinner Kelley took us to Chocolate world and the kids got to go on a ride and learn how chocolate was made. Since it was in October they even let the kids trick-or-treat. The kids would have been happy with just that.
The next morning the boys went shooting. Then we all enjoyed the Hershey Pantry. Now I see what all the talk is about. We made it to Hershey park and the kids loved it. There was so much for them to do.
They had more trick-or-treating in the park. Chase has it down he say trick or treat get candy. He was saying it to everyone.

Dax loved Dad's attention. They went flying. This was Dax's favorite ride.

While Dax waited in line with dad Annabelle enjoyed all of the little rides all by herself.

All of the kids were able to drive on the turnpike.

Chase didn't ride very many rides but he had a lot of fun on this ride.

He's home at last

Judd's Home at last

We made it. It was a long 8 months. A lot of things have changed. Judd has a nice mustache. Dax has lost a couple teeth. I have lost 10 inches of hair. Chase is now bigger than Annabelle, and Annabelle well is still as cute and small as ever.

It was a crazy day. Judd was supposed to be home Thursday, but in Manas, Kasistan he had to give up is flight to some other soldiers that had been stranded for two days. We had no idea when he would get in. I received an email on Friday that he had made it to Germany. He called me at 1:00 am on Saturday to tell me that he was in the country. At 5:00 am he called and told me that he got a flight home and would be in around 9:51 am. I couldn't sleep all night. When the kids got up we got everyone ready to go they were all so excited to see daddy. I was more nerves then anyone. Dax had to calm me down and help get Chases shoes and socks on. When it was time to leave I couldn't find the camera anywhere. I searched the whole house. Then decided it was more important to see Judd then to have pictures so we hurried on our way. On the way to the airport there were freeway closers so we had to take the long way. With each minute that past I knew that we would not make it in time. We finally got to the airport at 9:50. I thought that we might just beat Judd to the exit if we ran so I grabbed the kids and started to run. We made it to the doors of the airport and Judd was standing right inside. I put Chase down on the ground and all of the kids ran to Daddy's arms as I broke down into tears. All of the worry and fears finally disappeared. I could breath again.

The kids loved Judd's Mustache. Annabelle said it was so soft. Dax and Annabelle took turns talking telling dad all about their lives. And Chase just held Dad's hand, he didn't want to let go. One time he even walked up to one of the other soldiers in uniform and tried to hold their hand and realized it wasn't daddy. He got really worried until he found daddy again.

Annabelle tried to carry Dad's big bag back to the car with a little help from dad. The ride home was a buzz of laughing singing and talking. It was heaven. It will always be one of the best days in my life. I just hope I never have to do it again.
